My first vampire fiction!

*Ughh* this present world of teens and young adults makes me want to rest all my boundaries in soil and to start dating again but it’s hard for me to be in it. I’m scared of losing that person. I’m scared of getting caught up in the relationship and I may forget to take care of myself… and moreover the bar of standards has been raised so high because of the fictional characters played by the hottest men.

While I randomly surfing through the internet, I came across the weird dating website called monster love dot com, but when I opened the website, it was all about the fictional creatures dating website. It was too good to be true. I mean yes being a 24-year-old I go to pubs parties and all the stuff and I’m still a believer of all the things they try to portray in the TV shows. Apart from the feeding, I loved being a vampire, it’s been my Halloween costume for years. My friends are sick of my vampire ranting to them.

But accessing this website it was kind of believable. At the end of the day, they’ll all be humans who are pretending to be the creatures like Halloween but just for full time.

Accepting all the possible fake scenarios in my head I thought of giving it a go. I’ve logged into the website and chose the category human because that’s what I’m. After a while I rested my laptop as I didn’t have any work to do for the rest of the day.

“I wish someone is obsessed with me as Edward was with Bella.”

“Yeah Dailyn, you’ll marry a vampire, and we’ll search one for you very soon. Don’t worry.” Said my roomie in disguise.

“I would love that bloody Mary. Instead, I’ll marry you just turn into vampire.” PS I’m completely straight.

“Don’t call me that… I’m going to the party in the campus.”

“Aren’t you a little old for campus parties?”

“There’ll be free booze dumbo and it isn’t our campus, it’s outside the city. More like a college rave but with the college chaperoning. Did you get the point?”

“Yeah, they just shifted the place. Got it. You’re not inviting me?”

“Even if I invite you, you’ll be skipping it by watching the stupid movies and series of vampires and werewolves. I don’t understand why people love to watch them.”

“THEY ARE NOT STUPID. You’re stupid and you’re not a believer. Now get out of the dorm and go to your stupid party.” I’m so angry that I could’ve said a lot worse words, but I somehow controlled them.

“Chill b*tch. I’ll bring you some Italiano while coming back from party if you rest it here.”

“You know I love you right? Don’t be late and don’t let my Italian food get cold.” She left after shoving the Italian food card on my face.

I jumped on my bed and turned on my laptop again, to check whether anyone has dropped a message in the chat. As I opened the website the message popped up in front of my screen. It said,

“middleagevamp254 waved at you… like to wave back?”

Well, the username is intriguing. I’m pretty sure that this person is a human.

“Hey there, human.” I playfully dropped the message to them.

“Seriously? You think I’m human?” I think they are offended.

“I’m a believer but it’s hard to believe that I’m actually talking to a vampire.”

“Cool but didn’t you see the website before stalking all the accounts? And how creepy it looked?” Yeah, I did see it.

“There’s nothing new I haven’t seen it here. It’s weird though. But it’s not strange. It’s giving me the vibe of vampire fiction movies.” There is no taking back now.

“That’s convincing to hear finally. I’m Sebastian and yourself?” As expected, a guy.

“I’m Dailyn, 24, human.” I don’t lose a single chance in getting myself embarrassed. Noted.

“That was quite specific. So, what are you planning to know about me?” This guy isn’t giving up.

“You’re really trying to convince me that you’re a vampire?”

“I’m pretty sure you have a lot of questions about this stuff. I’m here to clear them and can be more too. *Wink face*” Perfect, he’s flirtatious too, I’m confused as hell.

“Wow, that was smooth. Why don’t we meet up so that you’ll be proving to me in real that you’re a vampire? And it’ll be a lot more convincing too. Then I might ask you some questions.” Go girl, Dailyn. Points for confidence.

“Sounds great. Where do you want to meet?” Damn he is serious.

“How about tomorrow? I’ll ping you up after my work.”

“Where do you work? I’ll pick you up.”

“Fine. Building no 2, Princess Street, Kevin Hood’s Bay.”

“See you tomorrow after work. Have a good night!”

After closing the laptop, I’m reconsidering my thought of going out with him. Am I really risking my life? Or am I just literally dumb? The tomorrow arrived and there is a little panic I’ve been sensing since morning due to which I couldn’t even focus on the work. Then suddenly a text pop up,

“I’m waiting in the cellar of your office.” I forgot how to type.

“Yeah, I’ll be there in 20 mins.”

I hesitate to go down to him but it’s for only one day. He’ll probably end up like one of my random one-night stands. I gather up all my courage and go down to meet him.

“Hey there. You’re early.” He said looking at his watch.

“What? Did you keep a timer or something?” I said playfully.

“Well, it isn’t wrong to wait for such a beautiful lady like you.” He started it again.

“Thanks. Feels better to listen something like that after a long time.” Which was true.

“I’m glad that helped you. So where to now?” He didn’t ask me many questions. Maybe he took ‘my turn to ask questions’ thing a bit seriously.

“Your call. I’ve gone to almost all the pubs in New York.” I’m a reformed partyholic. After postgrad., I had to stop all of that and get serious about my carrier and life.

“Then I’ll take you to one place. All I need you to trust me with the road and vehicle obviously.” There was something intimidating about him that I couldn’t say no to him.

I didn’t see him how attractive he was until he asked me to trust him. He has this semi-curled hair with brown ombre highlights. Blue Green eyes compliment his masculine face with dusky brown skin and yeah, he looks like a perfect piece of art that God took special time to make.

“Okay captain. The ship is yours.”

He pulled me closer and gave me a soft hug. His cologne is supple more like chocolate flavored scent. I loved it though. He was cold like an ice drink, and I started to fear him. While pulling apart he went to my neck, I shivered but he just leaned in for a kiss. My body relaxed and wished it for that kiss to long for a bit more.

“Thanks, I guess…” He got my awkwardness.

“Just relax. I won’t kill you unless you ask me to.” Is it a pun or is he serious?
